Its challenge day at Hiding in my Craft Room and we are having a "Anything Goes" Theme, so now is the perfect time to try something new!!
For this challenge I have made a card using mostly pinks, I know what a great colour!!
The image is a Digi from Tiddly Inks and she is called Super Spy Wren These digis are super adorable and you will see more of them, It's safe to say!! She was coloured using water coloured pencils and a blending pen and some textas that I "borrowed" from my daughter. She has some Kindy glitz added for a touch of sparkle!!
The papers are from Sugar & Spice Studio the range is Chantilly, this pad is from Spotlight here in Australia. I have some new mpress dies that I got for my birthday, and they are what cut the circles and scallops, very easy to use Love them!!
Now the sentiment is from one of K Andrew Designs new stamp set Beautiful Thoughts this set has such wonderful sayings on it great for lots of occasions!! And this sentiment fits perfect for this Wren digi, that I just had to use it!! I have also used the Butterfly from this stamp set, see if you can find them!!
Now it is your turn for "Anything Goes", so off to Hiding In My Craft Room and check out what the Design Team has come up with and link your cards too!!
I am entering this card in the Tiddly InksChallenge #89 Pretty in Pink
Today it is my turn to showcase the fun Pirate sets at Getting Cricky There are 2 sets 1 image and 1 sentiments that go together perfectly!!
For the First card I used the Image stamps to make this scene card
For this scene I have stamped and coloured the palm tree and boat I then paper pieced the mermaid to give her some extra colour, she is sitting on a shell from the Cricut cartridge Paper Doll Dress ups as does the sand, the waves are from Disney Happily Ever After and the clouds and sun are from Hello Kitty Greetings. The sand was lightly inked.
I must say the paper piecing cam up a treat and I will be using this method again!! She and the palm tree are from the Pirate Image Stamp Set
The sentiment on this card is a simple Ahoy and the ship came from the same stamp set Pirate Tales & Fish Scales
The second card is a cutie too
This one is called Pirate Honey and is from All That Scraps and was coloured using water coloured pencils and a blending pen
I finished the card with some orange twine that is available from K Andrew Designs!! This is such a bargain and great twine get your today before its all gone!!
Today is another a new Challenge over at Hiding in my Craft Room and this challenge is a Masculine challenge...I know these are the hardest kind of cards to make!!! I think it's because we like to make pretty things, or at least I know I do!!
So for this card I have used a saying as the title and this gave me a great base for the card.
Then I have used Cricut George and Basic Shapes for the oval-ish shape. All the papers are from Kaisercraft, The title was covered with Kindy glitz to give the black a little something!!
The black "buttons" were from a button pack I brought at spotlight, they seem to have missed the button press and luckily they are just perfect for a man's card!!
The Happy Birthday is from two sets of stamps from K Andrew Designs stamps sets Guy Talk and Sweet July Both sets have excellent sentiments on them and are wonderful for all year round not just Father's Day and July 4th and we all need "Guy"cards in our stashes!!
So now it is your turn to get those masculine cards made and link up at Hiding in my Craft Room
I have a few posts over the next few days, so I am going to change my format just for these few!!
To start I have this card that I made for a wedding, now I usually colour the images my self and I love doing this, but I only had an hour to make this wedding card so I decided to use a pre-coloured image
Recipe:
Digital Image: The Paper Shelter
Paper: Kaisercraft
Butterfly Punch: Martha Stewart
Momento Black Ink
The other card for today can be see HERE how to make it
It's Saturday!! Yeah!! so it must be time for a Saturday Challenge at Hiding in my Craft Room!! For today we are Embossing with embossing powder, I know you have some in your stash that has not been used for a while and you really should use it!! Here is the perfect excuse!!
Now on to my card
I used the Kaisercraft "tigerlilly" butterfly stamp set that was stamped then heat embossed on black with silver embossing powder. I decided to keep this simple to showcase the embossing

So first up we have a card made by Lucy, She is 5 and 3/4 as she likes to say and she made this card all by her self. I was not allowed to help, it was totally her creation!!
Lucy used a La La Land image called Roller Skate Marci and last week I brought her, her very first paper pad from Spotlight, Lucy can do with this paper as she pleases and I don't have to worry about her wanting to use mine.....for the time being!! So Lucy decided to cut out some princess carriages for the girl to skate by. When I asked her why she stated "because all princesses love to roller skate!!!" She also added a wand from the paper pad too.
Now to the stamping, she decided that 3 stamps would do for this card, trust me it could have been a lot more as she LOVES to stamp!! And they are all from the Fashionable FriendsK Andrew Designs stamp set
Now My Turn, My card is a real "Wild Child" I just loved this Tiddlyinks digi stamp, the minute I saw it, and when I saw the them to this hop I knew what image I wanted to use!! She was coloured using water colour pencils and a blender pen.
The paper is from the Echo Park Summer Days paper pad, and I have used a scalloped punch. The stamp sets I have used are Fashionable FriendsandOf Mice & Lil Men
The card was then finishes off with some TWINE bows twine is now available at K Andrews Designs!!
Don't you just love coffee!! Well I do!! And I Also love making Coffee Cards and as it is my day to be featured on Getting Cricky using the Coffee & Tea Sets.
Here is my first card
I know I know, I have used this girl a few times lately but look closely this one is different, Its Cocoa Emma from All That Scraps and she is sitting on top of the tea cup from the K Andrew Designs stamp set Coffee & Tea Image Set I think this is so adorable!! And these stamps by Kristal are the perfect size for these girl stamps!!
I made the image by masking the image, Super easy and such a Wonderful Effect!! And Look I now have a spellbinder set!! They really finish off a great stamp image :)
For my second card It is a oldie but a goodie!! This was the first card I made using these coffee stamps and it was love at first stamp!! I have used the Cricut cartridge Love U a Latte. For both cards I used Kaisercraft paper pads
I have this pile of "scraps" that I am getting to use thanks to this challenge each month!! I recommend trying it!!
So for today's challenge I have used this lounge from the Cricut Love U A Latte that was cut about 6 months ago!! So I decided it was defiantly time to use it!!
Now I know that I used this All That Scraps Spring Emma in my last post but, she was already coloured so I am saying she was a scrap too!! And isn't she just the cutest!!
The Papers were all out of my scrap box, but I do know that the back ground is a Echo Park, Victoria Gardens paper.
This sentiment is from the simply fabulous K Andrew Designs NEW stamp set Southern Sayings It has So many great sayings on it that can be used for so many occasions!!
So now it is your turn to join us at Hiding In My Craft Room with your scraps and join in the challenge!!
