Easter Bunny Girl

Welcome all to the Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky

In case you didn’t know, each stamp set benefits charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to help the charity noted on the stamp set package. Currently Kristal supports the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. In addition, Kristal personally donates $1 from each set sold and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. You can feel good knowing that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs Art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!
K Andrew Designs Art Stamps also stimulate the broken and wounded economy because they are all made and assembled in the USA! This is hugely important to Kristal and ensures not only that product materials are safe, but that jobs are being provided and maintained in America. Learn more about these stamps by visiting

The challenge is Easter Blessings: A project celebrating Easter.

I have made a Bunny Girl card!!

The image is from All That Scraps she is called Swiss Pixie Bunny Lucy I have used the digi stamp, but she is available in rubber stamp too. I have coloured her using water coloured pencils and a blending pen.

The Easter Eggs and the Sentiment are from the Amazing K Andrew Designs stamps. I have used a few stamp sets for this card.

So for the Easter eggs I used Hoot- A-Accessories, the "Have a"  "sweet" and "Day" are from Sweet Wishes (this was a free set back at Christmas) and "Bunny" is from All About Animals

What a Surprise

So over at Hiding in my Craft room this week our challenge is.
 Using your most hideous paper!!

So off to my old papers that I never uses because they are Hideous, mostly from paper packs. So I chose 2 that some what went together and because my daughter said she did not even want them!! LOL

I consider these VERY hideous as I don't use these colours very much and the squares on the yellow paper do nothing for me....BUT you will never guess what happened when I cut, and layered them, I started to really like them together.

I used Cricut cartridge Elegant Edges for the scalloped background,  the black layer was the oblong  scallop cut 1/4 inch bigger as this has no shadow.

Then for the image. This is a C.C. Designs digi stamp Puppy Kiki La Rue available at All That Scraps.

I coloured the image using water coloured pencils and a blending pen.

Then the Sentiment was stamped using the fabulous K Andrew Designs stamp sets Splash-tastic and All About Animals

Super Scraps Saturday

So it is time for Super Scraps Saturday over at Hiding in My Craft Room and so today my creation is from my scrap bag/box

So to start I got out all my cut that are yet to make it as a card

Then got out my box of papers

And went to work, I wanted a card for my friends birthday so I looked for a cool image and I decided on boots!!

The Boots are from Groovy Times, I think it was cut out about 6 months ago!!

The Purple background was found in the scrap box and then embossed using indentz swirls embossing folder

The Sentiment circle was cut using a fiskars cirle punch and then the fiskars scalloped punch, I then added a scrap piece of ribbon and a large brad to hold it together. I then used liquid pearls to finish the scalloped off!!

It has then been stamped using the K Andrew Designs stamp set Positive Thoughts
