So for my project I have again used the Cricut cartridge Mickey & Friends to make this bookmark.

My 5 year old daughter was able to make this with me. So it is a very easy project for the kids to do.

Cut the pieces from Mickey and friends Cricut cartridge. The base is a cereal box cut into a rectangle big enough to fit your cut but not so big that it won't work as a bookmark. Mine is 2 3/4 x 4 3/4".

So to start we took all the pieces and ran then through the xyron sticker maker. This just makes it easy for the kids to put together. I ran the base through twice so the cereal box was covered with card.

Then remove the plastic sheet on top and construct your image onto the bookmark.

I have then stamped the flowers on the bottom of the bookmark from the K Andrew Designs stamp set Hoot-a-Accessories and the sentiment is from Winged Things

Then to finish off we Kindy glitzed the butterfly then made a hole using a hole punch and attached some yarn and added a flower embellishment!!

Now you can hop on over to your next stop:  LINDA

Getting Cricky Blog Hop

Now that you've seen what I can make using the K. Andrew Design Stamps, head over to her online store to purchase your very own sets.
Here's a list of the entire hop, in case you get lost along the way or want to revisit anyone:

Fairy Minnie

Welcome all to the Simply Sunday Challenge at

So today's challenge is.... "Fantasy Land"
So I have made a Minnie Mouse card with a twist.

Now, Minnie Mouse is not a Fairy but I thought to make her more on the fantasy side she would need a set of wings.

I used 2 Cricut carts for this image. The first of course is Mickey and Friends for the Minnie image, and the wings are from Straight from the nest.

The background paper is My Minds Eye Spots paper pack, and the ribbon is from spotlight.

For the sentiment I have used K Andrew Designs stamps set Positive Thoughts

K Andrew Designs

I punched the label from a stamping up punch then stamped the sentiment on it. I then went over the sentiment with a glitter pen to give it some shimmer.

I have then used Liquid pearls to add some colour to the tag and Kindy Glitz on Minnie's dress and bow, what is a fair without glitter!?!

Here is the video

I would have to say this card is one of my all time favourites!!
So now it's  your turn, come and join us at Getting Cricky's Simply Sunday Challenge!!
