Super Scraps Saturday

We all look forward to this each month at Hiding in My Craft Room A way to use up those scraps that we seems to have taking up space. Here is this weeks card.

All the pieces used in this card are scraps that I have in my scrap bag, the images I have made a while ago for other projects that they did not work for, so they have lived in the scrap bag till now, when I put them all together to make this card!! Love when even the scraps work together :)

The image is from La La Land she is called Ruffles Marci the sunshine is a Peachy Keen stamp and the cloud is a Cricut cut, but I don't know which one! The flower punch was used to create the flowers and I then used liquid pearls for the centres.

The sentiment is from the K Andrew Designs Stamp set Splash-tastic

Sunshine

Today is our colour challenge day over at Hiding in My Craft Room The colours we used are Yellow, Green and Bright Green

Now these are not colours that I would normally use but I stepped out of my box and tried something new!! Here is what I have come up with

It ended up being a very happy card and I love it!! The Sun Burst is totally inspired by Andrea Walford from Paper Crafts Library where I found a template for the sunburst, it was so much fun to put together, and I will be using it again!!
All the papers are scraps from my scrap bag and I think they came together nicely!! The ribbon is from Stampin' up.

The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs stamp set Guy Talk

Teepee Celebrations

Summer Celebrations are a wonderful way to get through a cold winter!! It's freezing here in my part of Australia!!
The Simply Sunday Challenge for this month over at Getting Cricky is "Summer Celebrations" this can be any type of summer celebration!!
Now this post is going to be photo heavy so you can see my card from all angles, but not very wordy :)
I have made a teepee card, this is a three sided card that is very easy to make!!

The images are all from Tiddly Inks

I have used the K Andrew Designs stamp set SWEET JULY for all but one sentiment the other is from SPLASH-TASTIC SUMMER

this one is called Wryn Beach Babe

The paper is a really old paper, that I have had forever, I really love the summer feel it has

The "shine on" is from Splash-tastic Summer

This is Summer Sweet Wren and all the images were coloured using water colour pencils and a blending pen

And for a celebration there is presents too!!
All the flowers are from a material flower pack I got from the discount store in the kids craft section

Each image has some Kindy Glitz added too

Here is a side view of the card, so you can see how it stands

If you look to the right of this photo you can see the velcro closure that holds it all together
This is a fun card to make and I really enjoyed the unusual shape I used.

Here are the stamp sets I used
