It's Saturday, so it is challenge day at Hiding in My Craft Room and this weeks challenge is embossing.

So anyone who knows me knows I LOVE coffee, so this when I got to use this delightful digi stamp on my card this week I was super happy!! 

I have paper pieced the cup and water coloured the mouse, this image was super easy to paper piece as the image has lovely thick lines on the image, Love that!! 

The sentiments are from Close to My Heart, and were Heat Embossed!! The papers are My Minds Eye and the ribbon is a recycled item, it is the ribbon they give you at Donut King and worked perfectly with this card!!

Birthday Pinwheel

Today I am bring you the post over at Getting Cricky and today I have made a pinwheel card

I must say, I LOVE pinwheels, they are so versatile and can be used for both male & female cards. They are such a happy element!! I used the new stampin' up die with Echo park paper. The chevron  embossed background is also Stampin' up

I have used the K Andrew Designs stamp set Sweet July that is still available in the store HERE

Scrappy Banners

Welcome to Saturday!! It is time for Super Scrap Saturday at Hiding in My Craft Room!!!

I had strips for paper left over from another project and all I could think about was that they looked like banners

They are a mixture of Kaisercraft, My Minds Eye & Crafters Choice papers. 

The sentiment is from Close to my Heart stamp set For every Occasion (Thanks Diana) and the label is from the Cricut cart Art Philosophy, also from Close to My Heart!! I am in love with this cart and stamps!!

A Little Bit of Red!!

Welcome to this weeks colour challenge at Hiding in my Craft Room, The challenge this week is RED.

 Now when you see my card you may say, but that looks like pink....I want you to squint and pretend it is red as I had a malfunction.....and the card is in light RED!!

 I just had it in my mind that the challenge was for pink, Oh well we all have technical difficulties in life don't we!!

My card features a Digital stamp from Tiddly Inks and she is called Wryn Fairy Wishes. All the papers are from the scrap pile and some I have had for about 5 yrs, so I have no idea where they are from.

I have coloured here using Spectrum Noir pens

Valentines Girl

This week at Hiding in my Craft Room the challenge is Valentines Day.

We were sponsored by the Scrapbook Stamp Society  and we were given a digital kit to play with to do our project

I printed out one of the card images a few times and layered some of the elements with foam adhesive
