Unusual Father's day

Today at Hiding in my Craft room We are doing Fathers Day. Mother's day is the same date for both Australia and the USA...but not Fathers Day, so I decided to let my daughter help me make this one!!

A funny thing happened, she decided to make an adorable cute card, that she wants to give to her dad. So this is my Father's Day card inspired by my 5 year old daughter!!

This cute little elephant is from Cricut Nate's ABC's and it is simply adorable!! The paper is from the Kaisercraft paper pad One Chapter.

The sentiment is from two K Andrew Designs stamp sets Winged Things and Of Mice & Lil Men

I used my stamping pens for stamping the sentiment, this makes it easy to "mask" the word you don't need. This stamp said - Thanks for noticing me - So I used the - Thanks for me - from Of mice and Lil Men and the - loving - from winged things, really love the way this sentiment turned out!!

Super Scraps

This Week at Hiding In My Craft Room it is Super Scraps week!!
Here are my scraps of made up images that are yet to make it to a card.

This card is a simple card made from my scraps but a effective one

It has a white base for the card and then a green layer of forest green card, I have used Kraft card stock across the top of the card that was cut using a scalloped border punch from Kazzass an Australian craft company. The Paper is from Lime Twist "Fly a Kite" paper pad.

The image is a silhouette from Nate's ABC's, and the sentiment is from the fabulous K Andrew Designs stamp set Positive Thoughts
This stamp set has so may great sentiments, for all occasions!
