Have an Anniversary

Welcome to this weeks post for Hiding in my Craft Room. This week the challenge is to do an Anniversary card.

For my card I have used embossing from 4 different folders

The folders are Cuttlebug -  Love Language, Perfectly Paisley and Caramelo and Couture Creations - Drifting Endless
The heart is from the Fiskars punch Funky Heart.

I also used the Papertrey Ink Banners for the banner, that was stamped using the K Andrews Design stamp set In the Family

Mothers Day!!

Hello all my Crafty Friends!! Today at Hiding in my Craft Room we are celebrating Mothers Day!! Yeah!!

So it is universally known that I have the BEST MUM EVER, It must be said!!
So to celebrate her and all the wonderful Mothers out there we have some Mothers Day inspiration for you!!

So for my card I have used, you guessed it a image stamp, I'm a little obsessed at the moment as the colouring of these at the end of a long day is so soothing... I have coloured this image using water coloured pencils.

This Delightful girl is called Ruffles Marci she is a La La Land Stamp and she is a sitting image. So in order to give she something to "sit" on, I have created a ledge for her to sit on. The paper I have used for this card is Echo Park Victoria Garden. The flowers are all from a packet of flowers that I got from the cheap shop.

The stamps except for the border, this is a stampin up border stamp are from K Andrews Designs. The "Mother" is from All In The Family and the flowers that Marci is holding are from Hooty Owl Accessories. Love how these flowers are the perfect size to go into Marci's hand!

Keep it Simple Sweetie

So this Saturday at Hiding in my Craft Room we are doing KISS! Keep it Simple Sweetie. So I am one for a few layers some ribbon and a image, but not with this card!!  I had to think outside the square and this is what I came up with, to me it seams so simple!!

The background is embossed with Couture Creations "Drink Me" embossing folder. The butterfly paper from the DCWV Blooms & Butterflies paper pad, the pink stamp is from an Australian company called Kassazz

The sentiment is from the fantastic K Andrew Designs Stamps All In the Family and Coffee and Tea for You and Me

MIckey & Friends - Day 3

Welcome to the Getting Cricky Pre Hop week.

Getting Cricky Blog Hop

This week we will be using one Cricut cartridge or svg file to show all the way you can utilise your K Andrew Designs stamp sets. I will be using the Cricut cartridge Mickey and Friends.

So on to today's card, I have used the Mickey Car.

This was a pretty simple card that I think would be perfect for a man's card. I made the road using a wave cutter, and drew the "road" using a white gel pen.

I have embossed the sentiment using silver embossing powder.

The Sentiment is from the K Andrew Design stamp sets Coffee & Tea for You & MeAll In The Family and Splash-tastic Summer.

Anniversary Card

It is time for the Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky  an for this challenge the theme is Wedding Bells are Ringing. But as I don't have anyone who is getting married but we do have lots of Anniversaries in my family and as I have 3 brothers this card would work for any of them!!

I have used Mickey And Friends Cricut Cartridge for Mickey and Minnie. The bacground paper is from a paper pack from K-Mart and the bottom of the card, the stripped background I have made using strips of paper and sticking them to card. The ribbon is from spotlight and the scalloped punch is Fiskars.

The stamp set is of course K Andrew Design stamps. The set is In The Family stamp set
