Back to School Blog Hop

Back to school time....well not quite here is Australia, but it is in the US and I'm now way ahead for next year!!
The theme for this months blog hop at Getting Cricky is Back to School

If you've hopped along from Patricia at Creative Diva then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Kristal's blog (you'll want to catch up on all the FUN!!)...What a wonderful Guest Designer we have this month in AJ!!

Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS  Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!

K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America.  You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: K Andrew Designs

Super Scraps

It is Super Scraps day at Hiding in my Craft Room this week YEAH!!! Time to get into that scrap container and see what you can use!!

I have recently purchased this MFT stamp and die set and I knew that I needed scraps to make the hot air balloons so...perfect time to make this card!!

Now I really have no idea what any of the papers I have used are...sorry, but they are all scraps!!
Even the background is from the scrap bag, I have used it quite a bit and this was the last bit of this sheet, except for a bit with a bird on it, will have to find out a way to use that scrap up!

The hot air balloons are from the My Favourite Things The stamps set is called Up Up and Away and it has a coordinating die of the same name.

The Sentiment is from K Andrew Designs stamp set Guy Talk and this stamp set has wonderful sayings for guy cards, and we all know how hard they can me to make!!

Now it is your turn to get out your scraps and show us at Hiding in my Craft Room what you can do!!

Sew Much Fun

I have 2 cards for you today that were made using the K Andrew Designs Stamp Set Sew Much Fun
Here is the first card

I have made the background using a hexagon punch that I have had forever to make a quilt background

I then got a Princess Anya from the Greeting Farm and paper pieced her dress. I then coloured her using regular faber castell markers (still waiting for my SN pens to came...sigh)

I have used the K Andrew Designs Stamp Set Sew Much Fun for this wonderful sentiment!!!

The second card is made using all the image stamps on the Sew Much Fun stamp set for the background

The sentiment is on a scalloped circle and circle fiskars punch.
The dress is from the Cricut Cartridge Forever Young and it has been stamped using this stamp set too!!

Here is a close up of the background

So you know you want this set now, then go HERE to order yours today!!

Colour Challenge

This weeks colour challenge at Hiding in My Craft Room was (Sea) Blue, (Green) Olive & (Sunset) Orange. I must say I don't think I have ever done this combo before and this is what I can up with.

The papers are from the My Minds Eye Spots and Dots

This flower has 6 layers of a punched flower, each petal is folded in the middle to give it depth.

The sentiment is from the K Andrew Designs Stamp Set Fashionable Friends
