Mickey & Friends - Day 5

Welcome to the Getting Cricky Pre Hop week.

This week we will be using one Cricut cartridge or svg file to show all the way you can utilise your K Andrew Designs stamp sets. I will be using the Cricut cartridge Mickey and Friends.

Today's card is the Boat on this fun cartridge

I have made an easel card for today and the instructions for making this card can be found here at Splitcoaststampers.  The paper is from Kaisercraft - Chapter one.

I have stamped the boat and the tag using Splash-tastic Summer

and for the easel part of the card, I used the stamping up punch and  Liquid Pearls to out line the tag.

So Today's card is Dale and his nuts!!

Dale was cut at 4 1/2" and the nuts are 3/4". 

This is a Portrait card and the paper is My Minds Eye antique spots and dots. 

The sentiment is from the new stamps set at K Andrew Designs called All About Animals.  The banner is a stamping up punch.

MIckey & Friends - Day 3

Welcome to the Getting Cricky Pre Hop week.

This week we will be using one Cricut cartridge or svg file to show all the way you can utilise your K Andrew Designs stamp sets. I will be using the Cricut cartridge Mickey and Friends.

So on to today's card, I have used the Mickey Car.

This was a pretty simple card that I think would be perfect for a man's card. I made the road using a wave cutter, and drew the "road" using a white gel pen. 

I have embossed the sentiment using silver embossing powder.

The Sentiment is from the K Andrew Design stamp sets Coffee & Tea for You & Me, All In The Family and Splash-tastic Summer.

Mickey & Friends - Day 2

Welcome to the Getting Cricky Pre Hop Week.

This week we will be using one Cricut cartridge or svg file to show all the way you can utilise your K Andrew Designs stamp sets. I will be using the Cricut cartridge Mickey and Friends 

For this card I have used the jumping Mickey and a Z fold card. The Mickey is cut at 4 inches. I have used paper from the My Mind's Eye - Fly A Kite, 6x6 paper pad.

The Circle is from A Fiskars XL circle punch. I have used a white gel pen around the circle.

The Sentiments are from 2 K Andrew Designs stamp sets.

"Go Ahead and Laugh" is from Positive Thoughts Stamp sets and "Jump To It" is from All About Animals stamp set.

Anniversary Card

It is time for the Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky  an for this challenge the theme is Wedding Bells are Ringing. But as I don't have anyone who is getting married but we do have lots of Anniversaries in my family and as I have 3 brothers this card would work for any of them!! 

I have used Mickey And Friends Cricut Cartridge for Mickey and Minnie. The bacground paper is from a paper pack from K-Mart and the bottom of the card, the stripped background I have made using strips of paper and sticking them to card. The ribbon is from spotlight and the scalloped punch is Fiskars.

The stamp set is of course K Andrew Design stamps. The set is In The Family stamp set

This week the Getting Design Team will be using one Cricut cartridge or svg's of their choice and K Andrew Design Stamps sets!! I will be using Mickey and Friends for this week so be sure to come back for lots for fun cards this week. We finish the week with the Getting Cricky Blog Hop on Friday

Purple Bear

So I am having so much fun with the world of Digi stamps, who knew there were so many out there!! 

This is my card for the Digi Darla Challenge, I have used the freebie for this challenge. Bears next door # 7.

I made the background using strips of patterned paper, just love this effect!! I have coloured the image with my watercolour pencils, and a blending pen.  The border punch is Fiskars lace.

The sentiment is from the wonderful K Andrew Designs Stamps sets Coffee & Tea for You & Me and the new All About Animals!!

Blue Valentine

Here is a card that I have made for the Hiding In My Craft Room  untraditional Valentine's Day challenge

I have used a image from digi darla's Butterfly Fairy. The image was coloured using watercolour pencils and a blending pen.

The background stamps are Stampin up 

 the Sentiment is from K Andrew Designs using the stamp sets Coffee & Tea Treats and Hooty Owl Accessories
